I’m Vida Dewey, and this blog is my blank page, my in-between place, and my quiet rebellion against needing to have it all figured out.

I created SpaceForAName.com as a home for the thoughts that don’t quite fit into tidy labels. This is where I write to understand, to feel, to process — and sometimes, just to breathe.

You won’t find polished perfection here.
What you will find is honesty.
Fragments of becoming.
Moments of clarity between all the mess.

This is a space for:

  • Stories I’m still living through

  • Feelings I don’t always have names for

  • Truths that evolve the more I write them down

If you’re in a season of change, healing, questioning, or simply existing without a map — welcome. You’re not alone. I don’t have a big “aha” moment to give you. But I do believe in the power of making space — for growth, for rest, for expression, and for becoming who you’re meant to be (even if you’re not sure yet who that is).
